Brrr. Feel that Overdraft?
Hand it over to Paul
and I might not be overdrawn after all.
First I'll pay the mortgage
and for sure the internet
but maybe the phone can wait a while yet
Skip the gas and pay the lights
wait on the water and the loan
Write a check for gas and what about the phone!
Juggle the vet, the car, and the doc,
the insurance and the meds
use up all the stamps, don't forget the feds.
Get through another month
without threats of collection
and notices that come bearing words of disconnection
Take a little from Peter
Hand it over to Paul
Don't tell me I'm overdrawn after all!
