Since my cat's older bed is in a condition to where it looks horrible, I thought the time had come to replace it with the Petmate Hooded Cat Bed. A cat rarely gets cold because of their fur coats and that is something you should pay attention to in the summer. Sometimes the outdoors can be cooler than your cat's bed.

Even though the Petmate Hooded Cat Bed may be warmer than their old bed, it has more room for them to stretch out on instead of being balled up while resting. That provides your cat the access to get more air through their pores to get a healthier looking coat of fur. If they switch back and forth between two beds, it will not be one of the benefits of using this bed.
