Petra Nemcova was Sent Home on 'DWTS' But She Knows It's About the Journey Not the Destination

Sure she was beautiful, elegant, and she was picking up the dances rather nicely. But Petra Nemcova was sent home. Many fans expressed their concerns on the 'DWTS' Facebook page, but it seems many have forgotten how to be a good sport. As Petra said herself, "Whatever's meant to happen will happen." Very well said Petra. She left with her dignity intact, and it's high time 'DWTS' fans learn to do the same.

Sure, Nemcova danced better, but this competition is fan driven and it's as always, the one with the most votes who wins. The fans who vote are the fans who count. I see why some are steamed that Nemcova was sent home, that is understandable. Good sportsmanship reigns supreme. Nemcova is a classic example of a good sport. She is also the perfect example of why it's important to vote for your favorites. After all no one is safe until results night.

Much like "American Idol" the show is solely focused on fan votes and popularity. And that's OK. We know the system. Nothing has changed. So if your favorite goes home it's time to vote and sway the vote. Regardless of the outcome it's important to learn from examples like Nemcova. She enjoyed the journey, and that's what it's all about.
