Actually street children can be categorized as immature as physically, psychic and spent most of their time on the streets by doing activities to get money to sustain their lives and sometimes they get a physical or mental pressure. They generally come from economically weak families. Street children grow and develop with the street life and the background familiar with poverty, persecution, and loss of affection, so that the burden the soul and make him behave negatively.
Some of the factors that contributed to the phenomenon of street children:
Family economic pressure, kidnapped and forced to work by someone more mature, the assumption that the work could be used as a means of playing, justification of the culture that children have to work too.
Parents who can not meet the needs of children they have violated the rights of their children about the welfare of children. But if we see from the side of their parents lack empowerment to meet the needs of families, it certainly is an option that can not be negotiable for the children to help provide for the family economy by working and volunteered to loss of childhood that should be filled with playing and having fun, not slaving away.
When they mature, they will likely be one of the perpetrators of violence. Without any effort, then we have participated to make the children as endless victims. Actually, the street children is a victim of family conflict, community streets, and victims of incompetence from government to take care of the people. The campaigns for the protection of street children needs to be done continuously at least to encourage the parties outside of street children in order to stop acts of violence against street children.
But sometime it depends on one's own mentality. For example: I have a cousin and he ever took a child, and brought him to the school. But that child out of school and he moved back to the street. And he said , It's better I live on the street cause in here I can make money, not school with boring hours and many rules. And every bodies know that I need no rules, I'm free now.
