It is quite refreshing to know that Phil Mickelson has won his 3rd Masters Title, and also that this is a feel good story for the world of PGA Golf. This year, Tiger Woods did not dominate the Masters tournament due to his infidelity problems; this without a doubt had a profound affect on how he performed in this years Masters Augusta Tournament.

There are many reasons why Phil Mickelson winning the Masters is a testament to his family values - which have been the inspiration for his success in 2010. As Phil Mickelson was approaching his final green - it was apparent that no one would be able to catch him, due to his outstanding sub-par average as he reached an elite status today in the world of professional golfer's most outstanding wins.

Phil Mickelson may have been destined to win this year Masters Tournament, but it was his gamesmanship that put him over the top to win the 2010 Masters. This is an all around wonderful story due to the fact that his wife and mother have been undergoing cancer treatment for the same life threatening ailment. Phil Mickelson has expressed his feelings on why this year's Masters Win was a very special one for him and his family. "To win this tournament, it's the most amazing feeling," Mickelson said from Butler Cabin. "This has been a special day. I'll look back on this day as very memorable, something I'll always cherish." The unexpected pollen pod that fell on the green did not hamper his game play, as this would only be a minor distraction for Mickelson.

It has been a very trying year for Phil Mickelson and his family, and his sweet strokes are what gave him the edge to win this year's 2010 Masters Tournament.
