Who can say they celebrated their wedding on the water? You can! The Moshulu is a floating restaurant docked in Penn's Landing with private dining rooms and outdoor decks that provide gorgeous views of Philadelphia and the waterfront. The multi-level decks offer guests a chic open-air setting. The Moshulu can host private parties for 10 - 250 guests in various settings both indoor and outdoor. The prices are comparable to other venues in the city and depend on the food and beverage selections and the number of guests.

With three great venue choices: The Academy of Music Ballroom, the Dorrance H. Hamilton Garden, and the Pereleman Theater, the Kimmel Center/Academy of Music is an unforgettable wedding venue in the heart of Center City. Because of the different room choices parties of sizes of up to more than 400 people can be accommodated but it does come at a cost, as The Kimmel Center/Academy of Music is one of the pricier receptions choices in the city.
The Omni Hotel at Independence Park
401 Chestnut Street
Philadelphia, PA

If you're looking for a classic hotel wedding reception, the Omni at Independence Park is the place for you! The Omni's Azalea Room is cozy and boasts large windows overlooking a scenic park. Unfortunately for brides with large guest lists the room only holds up to 150 people but its small size is part of its charm. The Omni's prices are in line with the rest of the city.

If a reception in the middle of the city isn't your cup of tea, check out Glen Foerd Mansion. Glen Foerd's location is convenient but the mansion feels like it is a world apart form the city. Glen Foerd is a 19th-century Victorian mansion, on 18 acres of English Park gardens, overlooking the Delaware River. The site is a jewel box and includes a priceless art gallery, Tiffany skylights, and original furnishings. Like the Omni, its small size is part of its charm. Glenn Foerd can hold up to 150 guests and has comparable prices to the rest of the city.
