Equality Forum is Philadelphia's week long series of parties, events, symposiums, carnivals and lectures all dedicated to encouraging civil rights equality for gays and lesbians nationwide. The week, and weekend, draws over twenty thousand visitors, and has proven to be one of the number one tourism attractions in Philadelphia! With so many different events going on, we've tried to boil down all the excitement into 10 things you absolutely do not want to miss!

Philadelphia LGBT Community Pioneers
& Artifacts
It's an historical exhibit of the fierce and fabulous folks that really made the LGBT scene prominent, here in Philadelphia. Who says history can't be sexy?

National Media Panel: LGBT Networking
in Hollywood
If you're curious to see how LGBT people struggle to make it in Hollywood and if that struggle is more than any other industry, come to this panel discussion. After all, if you're bound to be famous, it's best to know what you're in for!

Women's Party
Get your prosthetic male body parts out, it's the DIVAS & DUDES drag king revue show! Come down to watch - this is one show that you want to drag!

Welcome Party
Philadelphia would quickly lose its reputation as the city of Brotherly Love if you weren't at this welcome party to show out-of-towners how things are done here!

National Legal Panel: The State of Our Unions
Just because we're not always social-political aficionados doesn't mean we don't enjoy the good enlightenment on pressing issues in the LGBT community to keep us informed. Several experts sit on the panel tell us what's really going on with domestic partnerships, civil unions and same-sex marriage and all the issues in between.

25th Anniversary GALA Choruses Concert
Three of the most famous GALA Choruses, The Lollipop Guild of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, the New York City Gay Men's Chorus and the Anna Crusis Women's Choir, take the Kimmel Center Stage for a night of truly magnificent singing. Guaranteed to be both entertaining and inspiring!

YouthFEST Summit 2007
If you're between the ages of 13 and 23, come down to the day long YouthFEST Summit, designed to be both educational and fun. Topics such as safe sex and gay-straight alliances are covered and the day ends with a spectacular talent show!
The Attic Youth Center, 255 South 16th St, Saturday May 5, all day, free, ages 13-23.

BB"Q"
Travel to the gayborhood for a late afternoon barbeque and good company. With the abundance of meat around, you certainly won't be lacking in protein!

8th Annual Girl Fever
Are you the hottest lesbian in the USA? That's what Girl Fever wants to know! During a dance party, the Hottest Lesbian Contest will be taking place, featuring lesbians from all over the country, with the winner getting a trip for 2 on a Mexican cruise! SundayOUT!
How can SundayOUT be excluded from this list? The culmination of the Equality Forum comes to a close with this fabulous event. Taking place in the heart of the Old City, there will be plenty of music, entertainment and vendors. There is even a free Family Zone sponsored by Philadelphia Family Pride and Mountain Meadow. A guaranteed something for everyone!
