Paladino's campaign chant has been that he's going to "clean up" Albany. He also ran an ad against his opponent, Andrew Cuomo, implying Cuomo needs to be cleaned up. It depicts Cuomo nude in the shower with special interests and labor parties stuck all over him.
Philandering Paladino is in not qualified to clean up others when he's a dirty deed doer himself. His "clean up" mantra is hypocritical. And his schemes to try to hide and diminish his extra-material affair prove him to be more than an adulterous cheater.
Paladino's child is 10 years old. Yet, he didn't tell his wife he had a secret child until last year. He deceived her for nine years...nine years! Now, that's just the kind of honest, transparent guy we want in Albany. All his experience at sneaking around, hiding, and lying makes him a real trustworthy guy.
I find his deliberate deception a stronger reason than his affair to not have him as NY's Governor.
And his scheme to try to diminish his affair is despicable. He has his wife, the very person he betrayed, doing it for him. That's about as low as it goes. He's hiding behind her silk stockings and using her for his own political gain.
Mrs. Paladino makes statements in the NY Post article such as: "...learning about her husband's 10-year-old daughter, Sarah, didn't faze her."
"So when he told me about Sarah . . . it was a very short affair, it was 10 years prior, and um . . . my first thought was, 'How lucky. Every child's a gift.' That was my thought. I wasn't angry."
""It's not that important."
"Carl lied, she said, out of love for her. "Out of protection, even though [the affair] was over, he made the decision not to say anything. And, in retrospect, you know, maybe I'm glad for that 10 years, you know?"
Whose words do you really think these are? Are they Mrs. Paladino's words or Carl's, so hot to be Governor he's willing to spend a fortune, words?
Add the way he has treated his wife to the porn videos which degrade women he has emailed around the Net and we can see Paladino has no respect for women.
Here's a suggestion for a new Paladino campaign slogan:
Vote for Carl Paladino, philanderer, cheat, liar, conniver, and woman user, for NYS Governor.
Mrs. Paladino's story in the NY Post had a strong effect upon me. Now, I wouldn't vote for Carl Paladino for Governor if all of New York State froze over.
One of the most tragic aspects of Paladino's philandering saga is that it was originally reported back in April. Yet, people voted for him in September's primary. What kind of people would want a guy with Paladino's character flaws as their Governor? We complain about politicians but we put them in office.
