So I've been trying to utilize the Phillips Go gear Vibe Video MP3 Player whenever I find the need for it. Most of the time I use it during my workouts and to be honest I can understand why my daughter didn't like it as much As I thought she would.
What I Didn't like about the Phillips Go gear Vibe Video MP3 Player
First of all I don't tiny electronics. There are certain electronics that can get away with being small but this one isn't one of them. When I First bought I bought it for my daughter who loves small, portable MP3 players. But since I ended up with it, I got to experience the butt end of the situation.
The Phillips Go gear Vibe Video MP3 Player is not only small but it's small in virtual space as well. It only holds 900 MP3 tracks. This may sound like a lot to you if you are an average song buyer. My collection of songs exceeds 900 tracks.
Another thing I didn't like about the Phillips Go gear Vibe Video MP3 Player is the tiny screen that it has. The screen size is only 1.5 inches. As far as videos is concerned, I pretty much stay away from them. I have a hard time viewing them so I don' t even waste my time.
What I did like about the Phillips Go gear Vibe Video MP3 Player
Even though there were a couple of things I wasn't feeling when it came to the Phillips Go gear Vibe Video MP3 Player, I still found some good out of using it.
It comes with an FM radio which has 20 pre set stations. OF course I only get the ones in my area but it's not all that big of a deal.
Another thing that I like is that I'm able to at least organize my music by putting them in files. This is a feature a lot of my other MP3 players were lacking so just being able to do this made me some what like it.
The battery on that bad boy is excellent as well. I love that it plays up to 25 hours of music and 4 hours of video.
My conclusion?
For the most part, I think that the Phillips Go gear Vibe Video MP3 Player is an ok device for someone looking for something simple. It's not expensive so you can't expect extravagant features. But it functions pretty well and it's easy on the pockets. My daughter may have skipped over it but I think I'll keep it around just because.
