Philosophy Amazing Grace Shampoo, Bath and Shower Gel

Goth Diva
Philosophy makes high end cosmetics and bath and body products in various scent lines. I've used some of the other scents but Amazing Grace is my favorite. At a cost of about $22 for a 16 oz bottle the Amazing Grace Shampoo, Bath and Shower Gel might seem extravagant but really it's not. That's really a low cost for three products in one bottle. If you shop around you can find deals, I've even seen people selling Philosophy products on Ebay although of course you shop on Ebay at your own risk. I usually buy from Sephora and their prices are reasonable.

Philosophy's Amazing Grace Shampoo, Bath and Shower Gel works well as all of those things. As a shampoo it's not overly drying and my color treated hair responds well to it. I also use Amazing Grace conditioner on a daily basis. As a shower gel it lathers well and it's convenient to be able to use one bottle to shampoo and soap up. It also works well as a bubble bath, just about half a teaspoon of gel will make a tub full of sweet smelling, long lasting bubbles when you need to relax after a long day. I've also used it to shave my legs and it worked great! No razor burn and my skin wasn't dry afterwards.

While the product quality is very high it's the scent that makes this my favorite shampoo, bath and shower gel. Sweet and feminine but very light, Amazing Grace is the perfect scent for everyday. Never overpowering, with a floral undertone that makes it very soft. Sophisticated and subtle it lasts all day even if you don't layer it with the cologne spray or body lotion. If you like to smell great but don't have time to waste layering products or switching from product to product in the shower this is the product for you. I would recommend using the Amazing Grace Conditioner and cologne spray and body lotion as well, but it's certainly not necessary.

Philosophy is also a company I feel good buying from. Started by the dermatologist who created Biomedic, a back- to -basics, high-tech skincare line formulated by chemists and PhDs Philosophy embraces a holistic outlook on life incorporating spiritual and inner beauty as well as outer beauty. Their products are made from pure essential oils, natural plant extracts and vitamins and they don't test any of their products on animals. Philosophy also works with and gives money to various charities like the Christopher Reeve foundation. You can't go wrong buying high quality products from a company that operates ethically. If you buy something from Philosophy and for some reason don't like it, they will take it back and exchange it or refund your money,no questions asked, even face creams or makeup. Head to a Philosophy counter at a department store for samples, you won't be disappointed.

Interesting, a body wash that doubles as a shampoo.
