I have to admit that I was impressed by the strong smell of the product in the bottle but having gone through many bottles of shower gel in my life I couldn't decided whether I liked it or not until actually using it. Experience has told me that something that smells so good in the bottle will probably have little smell to it once you mix it with water. One of the things I hate about scented bath products is that while they smell great in the bottle the scent pales in comparison once you actually start to use it. I knew immediately that I wasn't going to feel that way with this product. Using it in the shower left not only my bathroom smelling of Raspberry Sorbet but left the adjoining bedroom smelling strongly of the scent as well. The lather provided by just a small amount of this product was amazing. And instead of having to use shampoo with another scent this shower gel also doubles as shampoo which makes this product versatile.
One of my favorite things about this product is the bottle. The front of the bottle includes an actual recipe for Raspberry Sorbet. I haven't tried the recipe yet but plan to as soon as I can get some raspberries. If you are not a fan of raspberries Philosophy has many interesting fragrances to choose from including key lime pie, strawberry milkshake, and vanilla birthday cake. Philosophy products can be purchased at many drugstores and online at www.philosophy.com. You should be prepared to spend anywhere from $16-24 for this shower gel, bubble bath, and shampoo combination. While my initial reaction to the price was horror, I now feel that this is money well spent. I can't wait to try the other scents.
