SRS Labs Inc has developed just the answer with their Photogram software. SRS is very well-known for surround sound. They have been a leader in audio solutions for quite some time, and now they are offering their Photogram widget for free.
It's easy to use; just select your photo, choose a frame color to compliment your image, select the SRS-enhanced sound clip, and post your finished widget. You can save the program widget to your profile or your friend's comment section. The Photogram is compatible with GIF, PNG, and JPG formats.
Internet users on Facebook and Myspace can add an entirely new experience for the people they send photos to. You can add surround sound music or leave a comment attached to the photo. When your friends click on your beach photo, your voice may be heard saying something like, "wish you were here; the water is warm, the drinks are cool! See ya!"
Or instead of writing a note, you can send a photo and add a story like, "we arrived on Monday, went out for dinner at our favorite restaurant, and danced the night away." Instead of reading the words and imagining your voice in their heads, your friends will hear you speaking.
How about the sound effects of a roaring waterfall attached to your photo? Take a photo of a speeding race car and attach the sounds of the 500 HP engine. Take a trip to the zoo and attach the sound of each animal; a photo of a bird will have a distinct chirping sound in the background.
Send a photo of your daughter's first ballet or theater performance and embed the sound of applause and the cheers of the audience as she takes her final bow.
The widget comes with an entire library of sounds available to embed with the first photo you send. The library includes sounds of nature, modern life, you're a star, animal sounds, emotions, & cartoon favorites.
This is definitely anther gadget for the Christmas list. It won't be long and every Myspace and Facebook user will have one of these cool widgets. You better get in line early in case this gizmo sells out in December.
