WINNERS: SAG Awards 2011 Recap - 'Social Network' Snubbed, Few Big Surprises
Julianna Margulies was a shoe-in for Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series for her work on "The Good Wife". Claire Danes has now won every award under the sun for "Temple Grandin", and for very good reason. The Motion Picture categories weren't exactly full of gasps, either. Natalie Portman won Outstanding Female Actor in a Leading Role (theatrical) for her role in Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan", while Outstanding Male Actor in the category went to Colin Firth for "The King's Speech".
"The King's Speech" was also honored for Outstanding Cast Ensemble (theatrical), beating out "Black Swan", "The Fighter", and "The Social Network" for the award. "The Social Network", which was nominated in two categories Sunday night, left the SAG Awards (2011) empty-handed. In the TV categories, as expected, "Modern Family" took home Outstanding Cast Ensemble in a Comedy Series, and though a bit more of a nail-biter, it was no shock when "Boardwalk Empire" won Outstanding Drama Ensemble.
PHOTOS: SAG Awards 2011: Stars Rocked Versace, Louis Vuitton, Lazaro and More On The SAG Red Carpet
Besides winning big, the stars looked great, too. James Franco wore Gucci, Hillary Swank rocked a flesh-toned Versace and Claire Danes looked adorable in Louis Vuitton. Eva Longoria's gown let us know she's single and ready to mingle, while "The Fighter" actress and SAG Award winner (2011) Melissa Leo looked more demure in her shimmering, but more modest silver dress. See all the hottest red carpet looks right here!

Post a Commentnone of the expected people won, except "The King's Speech." Glee got nothing, as well.
