A Day Full of Blessings

Went to Church and Was Blessed, and Blessed Again When I Came Home

Marie Anne St. Jean

I visited a new church today and came home to my own little flock. A semi-feral cat that's been hanging around for several months deposited her kittens for me to take care of.

Oh wow! An entire grouping of Russian Blues!! The mama totally trusted you to care for her brood that she apparently no longer could do herself. She tested you out with the first one and the, satisfied she'd chosen wisely, brought the others one by one. Were you ever able to catch mama?

What beautiful kittens and mamma! I wish I lived closer....I'd love to see them and take them! She looks like she's got some British Blue in her. They are extraordinary as mommy cats. Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you can get everything straightened out!

Beautiful cat and kittens! I am so glad I don't live that close to you; I would be over in an instant. Then I would want to take a kitten home. My cat would not be happy. My husband would not be happy. I would be soooooooooo happy!

OMG! I fed a feral cat who got pregnant once, trapped her when it became evident she was ready to drop, and she had six kittens two days later. Unfortunately five of them died. These little guys look like they're at least two weeks old, tho. At least she had enough sense to know she couldn't care for them, and sent them to a safe place. More than some human mothers do! (I heard milk was bad for cats, tho, what else are you feeding them?)

Cute pictures. I'm not a cat person though.
