Post a CommentWow! I love your pictures! Very creative. I would also love to know more about your trip. I would also love to see more of your pictures. Thanks for sharing these!!
A great piece of photojournalism you have put together here. Too often we in America don't associate real people with real emotions to the conflict areas in the world. You put a face on hopes for peace.
Thanks everyone for the comments. Guess since slide shows are still in beta, the publish date shows as yesterday when in fact, the original was in May. I tried to add a link to an article about the trip, which is here: www.associatedcontent.com/article/43254/visiting_afghanistan_a_country_at_a.html

After seeing the Kite Runner this morning, I know I need to write more about the experience. Thanks again for stopping by :)
this is cool, you can have my slideshow vote :)
These photos are both intriguing and beautiful, and how fascinating their origin. I do hope you'll share more of your story - I missed this completely!

Oh..this is wonderful..I came here through the community resources page..excellent..
What a wonderful slideshow! I enjoyed it, and am sorry I missed it earlier!
Some extremely nice pictures. I have a friend who goes on mission trips to Haiti every year. He has taken some wonderful pictures too of the young people there. Photography not only captures an image, but it captures the heart of a people. Great work!
