Tough Hunt in Idaho Unit 27-1
Sheep Hunt with Bryan Moore in Idaho Unit 27-1. Weather was bad and I was stranded two extra days. Bryan stayed after I left and finally got into rams, but didn't get a shot. Fellow hunter Jerome got a nice ram.

Post a CommentI purchased your book today. Really looking forward to it. Hoping to talk with anyone who has hunted this unit in anyway or any success level. I have horses but willing to fly or raft if needed. We plan to hunt for 3 weeks if needed. Any words of wisdom, photos, or equipment list will be helpful. I have been purchasing Sitka gear for 3 years and have it all including the Bivy 45 pack. I also have a broken in pair of Mendels that are just awesome. We want to cover some ground but also try to be thorough as we can. We both have great glass for spotting. I plan to purchase a new range finder that has angles and the distance. My gun is a 300 win mag and shooting perfectly with some triple shock bullets hand loaded to match.
