Colorado Interstate Driving
It's like a roller coaster. Except without the loopy-de-loops.
Scenes from the interstate in Colorado. Mountains, prairies. That sort of thing.

Post a CommentWhen I was a kid going through orange light tunnels was like the high point of my life. I was a weird little kid.
Yep, Kofi. That's the west-bound side of 76. Notice the white dashes (as opposed to yellow). And, if you look to the bottom left you can see a sliver of the grey tarmac of the east-bound lanes peaking up over the grass. The median on 76 gets very wide sometimes (with big hills between them). Ironically, this picture was taken on one of the narrower median stretches.
That first pick is really I-76? It looks like a two-lane road. 76 must have an enormous median. I wonder why there are two I-76's in this country. I know the I-76 that runs from Ohio to Philadelphia via the Ohio and PENNA Turnpike. That is a nice drive from the Ohio border to Breezewood, PA.
It looks nice to me. I have not driven much out West. I am very familiar with the East Coast, South, and Midwest, though. Driving through the Midwest is absolute torture.
nice trip?... reminds me of the dead...living on reds, vitamin c and cocaine...:)
