Post a CommentJust went through these again, because I remembered how I loved them last time. I really, really love the variegated ones, although they're all so beautiful! By now my very early spring ones are gone, such as the squills, wild ginger, blood root, etc. Dutchman's britches and spring beauty are ready to bloom, as are the wild geraniums, which will be followed by the wood anemone. jack-in-the-pulpet is getting leaves, etc. Then the coneflowers, etc., etc. I just saw a goldfinch at my thistle feeder, too! And here we're in an old house in the city, residential area... ahh, how it does my heart good! The same as when I'm looking at your daffodils!
Great photos!
How I love daffodils; they're one of my favorite spring flowering bulbs. But they never seem to come up the next year; don't know why. You have some varieties I've never knew existed! I think that's an honor, where the ones you got from your neighbor's grandmother are extending the love she once bestowed on them... kind of like continuing the circle of life.
