Hey, thanks for nice comments, guys! :o) Oh, it's a different gull, Kofi, but this one was just as cheeky as the one on the avatar. ;o) He kept squarking at me the whole time I was loitering around! The bridge is the Coronado Bridge (2 miles) across San Diego Bay. And, Embarcadero means the place where you embark on and off the ships. :o) Down here, it's the bayfront from Spanish Landing down to the Convention Center.... about 2.5 miles. :o)
Is that picture with the bird where your avatar comes from? And I am a big Road Geek - what bridge is that over the water? Lastly, there are many places named "Embarcedero" in California. I am assuming that this is a Spanish Word for a body of water. Of course, I think that I may be wrong.
Ooh like Cinderella's carriage!
Those trees are so cool! Great pictures :)
Lovely park :) Sheri

I never saw the Cinderella carriage, however. I'd love a ride in that.
