Going up the Natchez Trace around Carthage, MS we encountered about a dozen turkeys trying not to be Thanksgiving dinner.

    I didn't know turkeys could fly. Wasn't there a big deal about a person dropping hundreds from a plane as a holiday gesture or advertising, only to have them splat and make all the children cry.
