The Grand Canyon is one of the most beautiful places on earth. My first view of the canyon was early evening, with a pale purple sky and a full moon hanging low overhead. Here are some photos from my first and very memorable trip to the Grand Canyon.

I remember seeing a painting once of the Grand Canyon and thinking it didn't look very real and then I saw the Canyon itself. It is so amazing, it doesn't look real! Great pictures!
