Heather Inks photographically surveyed the damage caused by the tornado in Galveston early Saturday morning. A waterspout moved ashore around 2am and damaged several homes and structures on the West End of the Island still recovering from Hurricane Ike.

Great photos. Horrible devastation. I feel for all families affected. I still find it remarkable how one house can be untouched while one just feet away can be blown apart.

We get more of the land spouts, or regular ground tornadoes, but I can see that water spouts can be just about as damaging though. Great pictures, glad you and yours are okay my friend. God be praised for this.
