    This was a very helpful tutorial. However, and I realize this will sound somewhat pathetic: I kept linking to Tim's page without realizing that the tutorial was above his name. The reason is that I saw the slide show and saw the blank pages first without realizing that I was to click on the additional slides to get to the information about how to actually create the link in my content. Again, ridiculously pathetic. But once I figured it out I do have to say that it is remarkably EASY. So thank you for your help

    what if the URL I am referring to is previously published content by this (me) author? All other source material is from open meetings, publicly released election results or open court findings.

    People who don't know how to link keywords or images probably don't have a reason to know. What has changed to make you want to learn now? The majority of CEO's don't even know what a hyperlink is...because he doesn't need to know. All he needs to know is why it's there and that it works properly...how that happens is irrelevant. Learn WHY not HOW and you will be more successful.
