How to Join Yarn: Russian Join Method

The Russian Join Method of Tying Yarn is Invisible

Marie Anne St. Jean

When tying two pieces of yarn together, you usually end up with a knot that is visible in your knit or crochet project and is not always strong. The Russian join method weaves the two pieces together for an invisible, sturdy join.

What a neat way to join threads. I used this method on thread crochet and it made a practically invisible join! This is great for crafters like me who want a professional finish to their goods. And...the best part? By running the needle through the length of thread, I don't have to worry about it coming un-done! Thanks A Million!

I've just got back into crocheting last year. I have no one to help me. I was staying away from changing colors when working projects. When I did I would tie yarn together and that can be hard to hide. I tried this method and I love it!!. It's so easy and it makes the color connectipns smooth. I've since found a crochet group at church and have shown it to everyone.
    Thank you.
