Post a CommentInteresting. Thanks for the tip.
Nice. Especially the part about not filling the shell with soil. A friend and tilled up a plot two days ago, and will begin planting today, 3-21-12. White potatoes, Red Pontiacs, Peas, and we hope White Globe Onions, as well as the kind you pull and eat.
Sooooo cool! Great slideshow. Great instructions. Maybe I won't kill the tomato plant this year...
Wow. I love tomatoes. So hard to grow here in Wisconsin - especially since I'm near the Lake - and we have a very short season. I'm going to try this next year. I built a greenhouse last year out of windows - but didn't really get a chance to try it out...can't wait!!!!
All I can say is- Holy Tomato! Those are Huge!
Neat pictures. How long can you leave the tomato in the shell?
Great pictures and descriptions. We have our eggshells ready but haven't planted yet. I plan to use mine for a container herb garden. Thanks for a great article:)
Never thought of this. I think I will try it this spring season.

That's so cool!
