We've had an elk hanging around the area here in PA. They have been letting them go trying to expand herds. There are more up north in the state. Unfortunately he is very tame. You can walk in fairly close and get some decent pictures.

What a majestic animal and their bleating mating call is something to hear. I'm wit ya about not shooting critters that have become so used to us that they do not fear us - no sport there. Great pics Rhonda.
