i done this at school with my friends and they teached me, but i still didn't get the hang of it so i looked it up.

You can tell the whole story of the crucifixion: the two small angle pieces go together to form a U for the whole the cross was put in, the two L shapes represent the two thieves, one turned away from Jesus, the other turned to Him, the 2 small pieces represent dice used to cast lots for His garments, one pointed shape left pointed for the spear, the other straightened out for the sign on the top of the cross "King of the Jews"

Excellent, thank you! I was doing this for kids but someone gave me different instructions that were way more confusing so I had to look it up!

Appreciate the instructions. I love this illustration! Also I've seen it done where the leftover pieces can be put together to spell the word HELL-meaning that without the cross we would go to hell. Thanks again

our children's director did this last night at an Upward Banquet... it was really neat!!! So I looked it up so I can make it... NEAT!!!
