When the Romans completed the ramp from their camp to the top of Masada, not one Jewish warrior was left alive. They had committed suicide rather than be conquered by the Romans.

Post a CommentSuch great photographs! It is too bad these ones were not privy to the words found at Mark 13:14, however, in which the scripture references the invading Roman armies as "the disgusting thing that causes desolation."
Wow this has a rough yet majestic beauty to it! The Jews - how sad... They had been told to flee Jerusalem by Jesus. They did not. Then later they took their own measures and paid the price...
