Too funny, Tony! Our dog does the same thing surveying from inside the back window. We say he's on watch protecting the property. He takes his job very seriously :)

I love this photo. Max is a handsome dog. Our Holly sits on our steps to the second floor and watches the sidewalk, street, and neighbors. Her post positions her to be able to look out three different windows.
