New Weather Icon?
We heard there was a wildfire near a relative's hometown, so this morning I went to check on the air quality after reading the smoke was a problem. This led to the discovery (for me, anyway) of a new weather icon.

Glad to hear that you and yours are safe! I'm not sure if it's about the smoke or a warning to find out whether you're in the path of a wildfire-- and I'm not in any hurry to find out first hand. We're more likely to see the giant red thermometer in these parts.

Folks here are always concerned when they hear someone's family may be in danger, so just to allay your fears I'll mention that I checked in on our loved ones and everyone is fine. Apparently they aren't even affected by the smoke. What a relief to hear it!

That's one icon I would not want to see in my area! I'm a big fan of the shining sun.
