The Ohio Gourd Society has an annual show at Mt Gilead, Ohio. The author and her uncle visited a show and enjoyed the many varieties of gourds as well as the designs of the craftsmen. This slide show will make you feel like you are there too.

Post a CommentI didn't know they had such a thing in Ohio, but I'll keep it in mind for another year. A guy that did my hair eons ago bought gourds and painted them and did some lovely work. His specialty was making Santa Clause out of gourds!
That sixth one would make a great centerpiece for a fall gathering!
