I've grown some of these before...Phalaenopsis (the moth orchid)...they sprout a flower stalk in the fall and begin to bloom in spring. Their flowers are perfectly spaced in rows, are gorgeous, and last for 3-6 months, some times blooming twice.
Love those orchids! I once got a black one. Talking about phenomenal...
