Petralona Cave, Greece - 700.000 years old, here is the "oldest" European
This cave is located along the west foothills of Mount Katsika, at an altitude of 250 m and at a distance of 800 m from the village of Petralona.
Fossils of animals: lions, hyenas, bears, panthers, elephants, rhinoceros, megakeroi, bison and various species of deer and hippo, and also 25 species of birds, 16 species of rodents and 17 species of bats.
