Photos of Tennessee storm damage at my home

Gayle Crabtree

About 2 weeks ago I sent a Tweet about a storm. These photos show the top part of a tree. It landed 20 feet from the room I tweeted from. You guys that responded were so reassuring! I want to say thanks.

Thanks for sharing your pictures! I know how you felt because we had a tornado touch down here on our property a few years ago. We lost a lot of trees. It was a very scary time. It took most of the summer to get everything back to normal. God Bless you and keep you safe! 5* article.

The tree damage isn't ideal, but I'm sure you are happy that your home escaped serious damage. Thanks for the photos. rcj

Glad it wasn't any worse. We didn't have one limb or branch down even withe the horrible winds where I thought the roof blew off.

Thanks, Delicia. The remainder of this tree is ok. Photos of the damage of the tree to the left didn't come out but it looks like it will also recover. The other tree is being taken down. My plans are for it and the huge limb in the photo to become firewood. Some family will need it this winter. No sense in letting it completely go to waste.
