Pictures Of An Old Cemetery III
The Old Cemetery in Southampton is a great location for practicing your photographic skills
This is a set of photographs that I took at the Old Cemetery in Southampton. For years the graves were just allowed to be overgrown, but now some attempts are being made to restore part of the cemetery.

People don't realize the artistic beauty (even if religiously ignorant) of these cemeteries. The historical value. The reminder that we are all mortal.
I am always interested in cemetery pictures. There were some interesting stone works.
These are excellent, Tony.
Oh, but I wouldn't hang around in a graveyard at night. I've watched too many episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
It might sound weird, but I love old cemeteries. I could spend all day reading the gravestones.
I love these photos! Thanks for sharing them Tony!
Glad your Internet connection is working well enough to upload these!
Thanks everyone, I don't think my photographs are that amazing, but I do enjoy taking pictures. I wish I could do a better job.
Fantastic photos and I like the natural look of the headstones -- as opposed to the shiny pretentious ones we see today.
