Planting Those June Iris Rhizomes in a late October, Pennsylvania Garden!

If you bought beautiful iris plants in full bloom in June and "daily life" got in the way of the planting of those tubers, don't dispair! It may not be too late to plant them even in October.

Iris are tough plants that can often be seen blooming away, in their full glory, around old long-abandoned farmsteads, so if you've neglected planting those spring rhizomes for months it still may not be too late!
