Portrait of Autumn
Pictures from Fall 2009
This year's Autumn was something of a disappointment from the viewpoint of a photographer hoping to catch bright fall colors. So, I went back in the archives and found these pictures from last year; a reminder of what could have been.

Happy New Year on 1/1/11! rcj
excellent ♥
I'm still unsure of how blind I must be to have lived in KC for 4 years and not notice the beautiful nature around me. You really opened my eyes to what KC has to offer!
Wonderful photos! I love the reds, especially the sweet gum and maples. Great shots!
This was the most low key color season that I can remember. I did comfort myself with the beauty of the muted colors in all shades of brown from almost yellow to almost red. Your color show from the prior year emphasizes the dullness of this year. An occasional brilliant tree or section really perked me up!
I love that last one!
Now I'm looking forward to next Autumn...what a color pop!
Every year, the red foliage is my favorite fall eye candy. That Maple lined private drive is magnificent!
Wonderful! Down here, I forget about autumn.
