Post a CommentThis is what my son got stung by in Corpus Christi, march 2011. Nasty little buggers
I use to live in Florida and I remember the jellyfish and the starfish vividly. Great pics.
Not something you want to mess with are they.
Good pics. I am always wary of such things while wade fishing.
They do look strange don't they, like a fancy plastic bag lying on the beach.
Wow! Those are some neat pics.
It looks like a bladder attack, so it makes sense to use urine for it!
They're so weird looking!
I heard about urine being a good cure. Funny what uses we can put things to isn't it. A couple of years ago I was a long way from the shore snorkelling in Florida and saw a few jellyfish in the water. I quickly finned back to the shore, keeping my eyes open and dodging them as I went. I know how many you can get sometimes, and didn't want to have to get the lifeguards coming in to rescue me.
Gives me the willies! I'm always scared of these guys when I'm swimming in the ocean! I learned urine is the best, quick fix for a sting :) Cool pics.
