Precision Stone Work At The Old Locks In Cascade Locks Oregon
The old locks at Cascade Locks on The Columbia River became obsolete after the building of the Bonneville dam. The stone works survive along with Thunder Island that provided the channel in the Columbia for the locks.
Stone work including precision cut granite at the old locks at Cascade Locks Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge. Today these granite structures would be made of reinforced concrete.
