Purple Mushroom Photos: Cortinarius Violaceus
During a recent hike in Hendersonville, NC, I stumbled upon about two dozen purple mushrooms growing in dense shade at the very end of the summer season. It turns out that these mushrooms are Cortinarius violaceus.
