The war memorial in Seattle's Evergreen Washelli cemetery is breathtaking. Standing amidst the graves of fallen soldiers and Medal of Honor recipients is a sobering reminder of the price paid for our freedoms.

    Kathrine...I was at the Tahoma National Cemetery on Memorial Day. We didn't have this sun. In fact, we were dumped on in buckets! I love your photographs. And as a veteran, these move me in more ways than one can imagine. Thank you for sharing your gift.

    How wonderful to see. My late husband is buried in a national cemetery, so I will have that honor someday. Quite a humbling thought for me. Your pictures have such a beautiful composition.
