Excellent! We used to have some of these growing up in VA. I wouldn't even try to grow them in Seattle.

The vine is leafing now. Green grape buds appear in early to mid May, we thin out the green grapes in late may and early June and by July into August our wonderful deep purple concords appear. I was able to double harvest last year. I'm hoping for the same weather this year. Thanks for your interest Todd!! :)

I was amazed we were able to save it! I was able to verify the age from our neighbor whose grandparents used to live in the house and planted it in 1930.

The grapes looks delicious and coupled with the pears. Oh, I am so hungry. And this is an '80' year old vine! Wow.
