My cat alerted me to the raccoon on my porch. I turned on the light and banged on the window to get his attention so I could take his picture.

Post a CommentVery cute! Glad you took the pics from inside though, raccoons are unpredictable!
Your new buddy is cute, unless it is rabid..lol
I don't trust racoons.
We had one in our back yard once -- in the city of Charlottesville. We fed him hot dogs. Loved 'em! But once I was golfing and saw one in a tree on a branch above. I stood underneath -- a risky thing to do, as he could have dropped down on me, and they can be mean.
I'd set a trap.
They can be dangerous. I don't think they can see the light. As soon as I opened the door he scurried off. I would avoid getting close. See how close I am to the racoon, I was even closer- nose to nose to the bear - wish I had a shot of that!
I have created a mini wild life preserve, 150 varieties of plants, a pond, and many forms of life :) - it keeps my spirit bright.
Wow! Maybe that is what is eating the cat food I leave out for my stray. He has not been around in many days, yet the food still gets eaten!
Raccoons are cute, it's too bad you can't really keep them as pets.
Surprised he didn't run off...cute pics.
