This heirloom tomato is truly "red," originating from approximately 50 miles south of Moscow. Disease-resistant, it apparently endures colder weather better than some varieties.

    The only luck I have had growing tomatoes are cherry tomatoes. Then again I have to protect my garden from birds and my smart chickens.
