The Island Fortress Is Twinned With Mont Saint Michel In Normandy
Saint Michael's Mount in Cornwall, a few miles east of Penzance, is a rocky island reachable by causeway at low tide, or by boat at other times. Saint Michaels Mount belongs to the St Aubyn family and is run by the National Trust.
