The coolest of all of the ancient churches I have visited around the world is, by far, Lunds Domkyrka (or Lund Cathedral) in southern Sweden.

I'll take Chartres, or Monreale in Sicilia or San Marco in Venezia for naves; St. Denis north of Paris or Westminster Abbey for crypts... but still impressive.

Wow. That is old... and still in fantastic shape! I wonder if that crypt is almost as old as the castle! :o)

Beautiful. I need to be in there praying for Len, who is having a heart catheterization tomorrow.
