Okay - you are so talented - you should have been a LIFE photographer in the 60s and 79s - Whoops I am dating myself.
Wow! I've never seen this flower. Beautiful!
Gorgeous! This made me gasp.
So, I did some research and it should grow in Ohio. However, the seeds are apparently poisonous. A website said, "Some resources list Ipomoea seeds as poisonous if large quantities are ingested. The toxic principals include indole alkaloids and others. Symptoms include hallucinations, dilated pupils, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, numbness of extremities, and muscle tightness." It also attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Worth the poison? Maybe. I just won't eat it. haha
I've never seen or heard of this. I wonder if it would grow in Ohio. It is truly beautiful.
