A Magnificent Venue for all Theatre Productions
The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Phoenix was built in 1929 at a cost of $750,000. In 1984 the City purchased it and began renovation. 12 years and $14 million later it reopened with the musical, Hello Dolly, becoming one of the finest theatres in Arizona.
