Great photos!
Great pictures, and great history lesson! I especially loved reading the letter from Eisenhower.
Great shots Tony!
Who did star in The Longest Day? It'
s more like who didn't star... John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Sir Kenneth Moore, Sir Richard Burton, Curt Jurgens, Roddy McDowell, Robert Mitchum, Leslie Philips, Rod Steiger, Richard Todd, Red Buttons, and that's just a few of the stars...
You reminded me (with your references to D-Day) of the movie -- let's see, who did it star? Oh, the bad guy on Candleshoe who was also the judge on Wampole of the Bailey, I think it was (which I've not yet seen).
I just love your photos, very nice.... :o)
Amazing photos.
The water doesn't go over that wooden barrier there-that's pretty amazing! Great history lesson! Thank-you!
Loved the shot of Lord Lovat's Piper posting.
