Pia Toscano was Voted Off "American Idol" Now Her Name is Trending as Rumors Swirl

Pia Toscano may no longer be on "American Idol," but that hasn't stopped her name from trending on Yahoo! It hasn't stopped the rumors either. First up is the rumor about Pia being signed to a music label. Then you have the rumor that Toscano is dating "Dancing With The Stars" hottie Mark Ballas.

But could there be any truth to the rumors?

People Magazine reports that Pia was crushing hard on Mark Ballas the second she learned that "Idol" and "DWTS'" used adjacent sound stages on the CBS lot. The magazine also reports that their trailers were in fact near each other. Mark is a professional dancer but also an artist and musician, so the two could have something in common.

I personally thought that Mark had a thing for Chelsie Kane on "DWTS," but each season the couples manage to look like real life couples, but in fact rarely are they. Ballas admitted that he isn't in to women already in relationships, which certainly made it seem as though he would be in to her if she (Kane) wasn't already in a relationship. Tick tock until a possible break up?

However, TMZ spotted Ballas and Toscano Friday night after their dinner date. So, I guess we'll see how far this goes. What an interesting match up to say the least. Perhaps Ballas is in to women less famous than he is. Maybe because less ego is generally involved. That's my guess anyways.

Toscano also spoke with "Extra," who asked about the rumored Interscope recording contract. Pia admits there have been a lot of opportunities since her exit, but says she's focused on the "Idol" tour right now. She went on to encourage people to continue to vote. And vote they will.

With what little we have to go on it's a safe bet to say yes, both rumors could very well be true. We all know Pia can sing, so the recording contract is most certainly a possibility. Except now that she is tied to the "AI" summer tour, she will be expected to honor that. But she will have many opportunities waiting on her, without a doubt. All I know is if she puts out an album of all ballads - I won't be buying it.
